The Sasanoa Dining Table is now available at Sweet Dreams Home Furnishings in Brunswick, Maine. Made of Spalted Pecan with islands, beaches, rocks, driftwood and tidal swirls all in a blue epoxy river, this piece has everything for the Maine coast lover! Update: Please note this table has sold.

The holidays are over and we are having fun playing with something new. We’re driving a bit outside our lane with this piece, but this slab of live edge Spanish Oak (or Pin Oak) was too gorgeous not to! Minimal epoxy, set in a white oak base, and more woodworking than usual was a good stretch. Gotta try something new now and then. The Sagadahoc Dining Table is in the books! This gorgeous spalted pecan slab is split by an epoxy river leading to a beach scene. “Sagadahoc” is an Abenaki Indian word meaning “river mouth” or “where the river pours into the sea.” All our work is done in Sagadahoc county, Maine, so the table name seemed fitting.
